Riot of Storm and Smoke (Threats of Sky and Sea #2) by Jennifer Ellision

Riot of Storm and Smoke (Threats of Sky and Sea) (Volume 2) - Jennifer Ellision
We rejoin Bree as she is escaping from the castle. Immediately, we are back in the action. And if, like me, you can't remember everything from the first book then don't worry. Jennifer Ellision has managed to recap the important parts of book 1 without losing anything in this book.

Told from both Bree and Cadan's point of view, they don't actually spend that much time together, much to my disappointment! I adored them as a couple in book 1, but they both have things they need to do in this book, and they do it separately. There are still scenes with them in, which are delightful.

Lots of action going on in this book, as well as internal angst. Bree is struggling with her Throwing abilities. Egria is at the start of civil war. People will be lost, and others found.

Excellently written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this 5-star fantasy will whisk you away to a different world. Amazing reading and highly recommended by me.
