The New Wolf is the first book in a trilogy where each book is written by a different author. This is RJ Scott's book. Now, as far as I am concerned, this means that she has the toughest book of all to write. Not only do we need to get a good background onto who is who, but also who fits where, why the main characters moved, their history, and I'm sure I've forgotten something! I think, because of this, it feels like the story has already started as we meet Josh and Connor as an already established couple with a lot of history between them. 

 

Theirs is a fast-paced story, with a lot of history to it. However, it doesn't get bogged down with it, instead moving into the present and possible future. As this is the first book in a trilogy, you are left with questions that need answers. I just hope that these are answered in future books.

 

Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this is an enjoyable book, with lots of potential for the trilogy. Definitely recommended by me.
