REVIEW TOUR & #GIVEAWAY - Back Home by R.J. Scott

Back Home - RJ Scott

Back Home tells the story of Kieran who returns home after a frantic call from his sister. It appears that life has changed, and he didn't know about it. Going back to Vermont means that he will have to face demons that he had hidden from years before, in particular, his dead brother's boyfriend.

This could have either been sickly sweet, or just plain wrong - but R.J. Scott has managed to make a melancholic story actually heartfelt and beautiful. With both men in their mid/late twenties, neither of them play games with the other. They pull together and get the job done, which includes keeping their family and company afloat.

This is a brilliant addition to R.J. Scott's collection, and definitely recommended by me.
