My Soul To Take (Soul Screamers) - Rachel Vincent
My Soul to Take tells the story of Kaylee, a girl with more to her than she realises. Her history comes straight out of Ireland, and with Nash by her side, she is more than capable of dealing with whatever gets thrown her way. She lives with her aunt, uncle, and cousin, due to her father leaving for Ireland upon the death of her mother. Nash is the 'hot' boy at school, and hasn't shown any interest in Kaylee until one evening when he sees her at a night club.

There is back story to this, and things are explained; at the same time, there is plenty left open for future stories. This is well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt my reading flow. The characters were enjoyable, and I particularly liked Nash's support for Kaylee.

An excellent start to the series, and I look forward to reading more by this author. Definitely recommended.
