In Animus we learn about how Lucas came to take over the Red Crescent Pack. For a novella, this book is jam-packed full of information, characters, and situations, that all help to give you a full idea of Lucas Masters! This is an amazing story, well written, with no editing or grammatical errors, and unlike other shifter books. There is a depth, a meaning, to this and you will grieve for Lucas as you learn about his Pack. With well rounded and described characters that you will love or loathe, this is a novella to savour. I have no hesitation in recommending this as a prequel novella to The Fervor. Brilliant!
