Alien Rule (Clans of Kalquor #2) by Tracy St. John

Alien Rule (Clans of Kalquor) (Volume 2) by Tracy St. John (2013-12-16) - Tracy St. John
Alien Rule is the second book in the Clans of Kalquor series, and it would certainly help if you have read the first book, as Jessica is the nurse mentioned at the end of book 1.

Jessica is on Plasius after the warship she was on was held in stasis after the abduction (and subsequent rescue) of Amelia. She wants to find a clan of Kalquor to mate with, rather than return to Earth. With a friend, she dances for the clans, and is annoyed when one clan doesn't seem bothered, and even laughs at her. One thing leads to another, and she gets her first taste of Kalquoran loving!

I enjoyed this book more than the first, although I still enjoyed that one. There is more storyline to this one, although there is still plenty of sex! All of the characters are well-rounded and developed. This story also has more twists, turns, and implications, than the first book. Probably because we are dealing with crown princes!

Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow that I saw, this is a book to enjoy.

I will just add one thing - there is no rape in this book. Jessica likes a bit of 'force' with her loving, but it is consensual. If you don't like the idea of this, then this book is not for you.
